Comments:
- the overall design looks good; like the art paper background and creative use of the animated gif for the content image slideshow; would look much better with the nivo slider slideshow that is in my sample projects folder (when you are ready for that)
- overall contrast is clear and bg image works well
- composition / whitespace: fills browser window well and allows good space for content
- logo/title could be more developed to help carry the interest
- typography could be more unified/consistent; size, style, spacing, number of fonts
- live text is included in the footer and in the content only on the sitemap page; did not find separate heading and paragraph styles; but did find styles for links and the inner content div
- project folder is complete; not fully organized correctly in that the actual save for web images were in a ‘images’ folder outside of the site folder
- div layout structure and corresponding css styles are complete
- links (a href=) are all working; references in the code match file names (including capitalization)
- image source references (img src=) are all correct; the code matches file names “folder/file” (including capitalization)
- did not find external stylesheet or links to it
- page identification defined partially in page titles, headings and integrated in the navigation
- page titles should include the “site name” and the “page name”
- the refresh from index to home worked out as a good workaround solution
- good work but missed a few things
